The Toronto Raptors haven’t had much good new with injuries this season. That changed in a big way this week for the Raptors and forward Scottie Barnes.
Barnes was upgraded to questionable for Thursday’s game. This comes after it was feared that the versatile forward would be out for several weeks due to a severe ankle sprain. Now, it looks like Barnes’ return will be right around the corner.
Barnes was a full participant in Toronto’s practice on Wednesday. He said his ankle feels solid after taking part in the full contact practice.
“I’m so happy that it wasn’t as serious as I thought it was going to be,” Barnes said about the injury.
