The Toronto Raptors have waived PJ Tucker. Tucker was traded by the Los Angeles Clippers to the Utah Jazz ahead of the deadline and then again to the Raptors on deadline day.
Last season, Tucker didn’t pay from November until February for the Clippers and had been away from the team all this season. Tucker turns 40 in May and will be playoff eligible on the buyout market.
While Tucker signed with the Sixers in 2022 on the midlevel exception, his salary for the 24-25 season is below the current midlevel and he can therefore sign with any team in the NBA except for the Jazz.
