Not quite a month ago, the Jays traded Trevor Richards to the Twins for a minor-leaguer Jay Harry, who plays almost every position.
Richards wasn’t great for the Twins. In 10 appearances, he’s pitched 13 innings, allowing 8 hits, 11 walks and 13 strikeouts, with 2 hit batters and 7 wild pitches. So not really a surprise that he was DFAed.
Not that Harry has been good, .219/.265/.438 with 3 home runs in 17 games at Vancouver.
I love this:
Asked Vladimir Guerrero Jr. on whether there’s a correlation between being himself and having fun, and his numbers:
“For me, my priority is to have fun out there, not my numbers. I really believe if I’m out there enjoying myself and having fun, I’m going to put up great numbers”

Bo Bichette has started doing baseball stuff. He says he was on his way to having a good second half until the injury. I kind of thought he would, too.
“toughest thing for me was the last injury. I was in a good place, ready to have a great 2nd half. Felt confident about it. And really, there was never any doubts for me throughout the season that I was going to figure it out and have the season that everybody expects me to have” pic.twitter.com/NXzImq2rkm

Tonight’s lineup. I’m glad to see them play Barger every day finally.
