Update Lineups. No Vlad or Springer. The two days off in a row thing. Wagner gets the day off, too.
Happy Sunday.
The Jays announced their September call-ups:
- Luis De Los Santos, a right-handed hitting infielder, is back with the team. He played in three games back at the start of August, hitting .286/.375/.429. In Buffalo, he hit .260/.375/.441 with 6 home runs. A .816 OPS is very nice for a utility infielder.
- Brandon Eisert is a lefty reliever. He was up for two games, one in June and one in July. In Buffalo, he pitched in 37 games, 4 starts, with a 3.99 ERA. In 47.1 innings, he allowed 46 hits, 20 walks and 62 strikeouts. He could give the Jays 2-3 innings if needed.
I figured we’d see Jake Bloss (and we likely will). Jonatan Clase picked up in the Yimi Garcia trade, was another likely possibility, but with Nathan Lukes hitting well, there is no room for more outfielders.
This is a cool stat:
#Bluejays rookies went 12-for-20 with eight runs scored and nine RBIs tonight, led by Will Wagner’s five hits. He’s the first #Jays rookie ever to do that and it just happened to come in a 15-0 pounding of the Minnesota Twins.

We have a 2:00 Eastern game today. Maybe we can score 15 again?
I was expecting the lineups to be up by now, I’ll add them when they are posted.
