I’m not thrilled with the lack of news coming from the Jays. And I’ve had enough of rumours that don’t turn into anything.
So, for the last few years, we’d been asking a couple of New Year’s Eve-type questions. The idea was stolen from Minor Leaguer.
What was the best thing that happened to you this year?
What was the best part of this past baseball season for you?
The best thing for me this year?
We had a great holiday in Great Britain. We toured St. James Place (I want to return during the season and see a game there) and saw a game in Bournemouth. We also toured the Guinness brewery and met some of my cousins. I drove on the wrong side of the road, and we managed not to die.
And we and the kids managed to stay healthy. It is good to see the kids happy and healthy.
What was the best part of the past baseball season?
I guess it was watching Vlad be Vlad. He was terrific.
And watching Bowden Francis finish out the season looking like Roy Halladay was great fun.
Your turn.
