The Jays will make a lot of money in program sales for the rest of the season.
The Jays have sent Luis De Los Santos to Buffalo, and Will Wagner has been called up. Wagner came to us from the Astros in the Yusei Kikuchi trade.
Wagner is the son of former MLB reliever Billy Wagner. He’s a 26-year-old left-handed batter. He’s played mostly third, second and first base in the minors.
In Buffalo he’s hitting .400/.516/.600 with 1 home runs, 2 doubles, 5 walks and 4 strikeouts in 31 PA. For Sugar Land, the Astros’ PCL team, he hit .307/.424/.429 in 70 games.
MLB Pipeline has Wagner number 21 on the Jays top prospect list.
I’d imagine he will get a fair bit of playing time.
