The Jays have avoided going arbitration with all their players. The last two were Alejandro Kirk who signed for $4.6 million and Vladimir Guerrero for $28.5 million. That doesn’t mean they can’t work out an extension with Vlad, but they won’t be going in front of an arbitrator.
People were saying that if they went to arbitration, it was a sign that they wouldn’t be able to sign him to a long-term deal. I don’t think that is true, but it shows Vlad and the team agree.
Big changes on the hand placement for Joey Loperfido. He said he’s “in a better spot to handle verty stuff and has a little more depth in his bat path” pic.twitter.com/4NPRmgNwxj

Scott Mitchell from TSN suggests the Jays are likely to sign Roki Sasaki. We won’t know for a few days, but I hope he’s right. I’d love some news.
Hold on tight. https://t.co/dKol9wqBMH
