In our Hall of Fame Polls we would have voted six guys into the Hall:
- Ichiro Suzuki
- Dick Allen
- Billy Wagner
- Andruw Jones
- CC Sabathia
- Luis Tiant
The Classic Baseball Era Non-Players Committee voted Dick Allen and Dave Parker into the Hall. We picked Allen and Luis Tiant. I think Tiant is a much better candidate than Parker.
I think we will be pretty close to the BBWAA. Suzuki is a sure thing. The only question is whether he will get 100%.
CC Sabathia is a sure thing as well.
Wagner was very close last year. I think he’ll make the 75% mark this time. Jones has to pick up more votes, but I’d think he, at least, gets close this year and gets there next year. Carlos Beltran
The Writers might put Carlos Beltran into the Hall. He didn’t get anywhere near the 75% mark with us. The Writers seem to take a hard line on PEDs, but other forms of cheating don’t seem to bother them so much.
I would put Ramiez into the Hall.
