Sorry about the lack of content today. After last night’s disaster I needed a break. But then Davis Schneider hit another home run and Vlad had three hits, so there were some good moments.
Anyway today is another day.
And we have a new arm at the back of the pen. Luis Frías is heading back to Buffalo and Dillon Tate is up with the Jays. Tate was a waiver pick up from the Orioles, back at the start of the month. Tate threw five innings with the Bisons, giving up just 1 hit, 1 walk with 5 strikeouts and 1 earned.
Tonight’s lineup, that features Bowden Francis throwing to someone not named Brian Serven. I’m not a huge fan of the ‘private catcher’ thing, so I’m hoping all goes well tonight. .
