Tonight’s game for the Jays is more or less a bullpen game. Ryan Yarbourgh will play the bulk role, but Ryan Burr may start.
The Mets lost a lifetime Met today. Ed Kranpool passed away at age 79. Ed played 18 seasons, all with the Mets, with a .261/.316/.377 line with 118 home runs in 1853 games. He played mostly at first base but also some outfield. He made one All-Star game and owns a World Series from the 1969 Mets.
And James Earl Jones passed away. The voice of Darth Vader, Mufasa, and “This is CNN”, as well as playing Terrence Mann in Field of Dreams and endless movie and TV roles.
