Game 130…only 32 games left. As much as this hasn’t been the funniest season on record, we’ll miss baseball afterward.
Yesterday’s game was a ton of fun—well, at least the bottom of the ninth was a ton of fun. If I had to pick the two guys to go back-to-back, those would have been the two I wanted. I hope this is the start of many great moments for both.
Bo is getting closer:
Bo Bichette (calf) is continuing to build up and remains on track to join the Blue Jays in Boston on Tuesday to complete his rehab
If he passes some baserunning tests in Boston, Bichette could get out on a rehab assignment as soon as next weekend

Also Jordan Romano is starting a throwing progression soon, and the team thinks he’ll pitch in the majors before the season ends. I have doubts.
The plan is to give the starting pitchers an extra day as often as possible the rest of the way. Maybe with a six-man rotation, maybe just spot starters. Bloss and Yarbrough might gets some starts.
Today’s lineup, no Springer, no Wagner.
