Durham Region woman pleads guilty to killing ‘amazing humanitarian’ housemate in dispute over shared home

A 73-year-old Newcastle, Ont., woman has pleaded guilty to killing and dumping the body of her housemate and former intimate partner, a woman described by friends as an “amazing humanitarian.”
