The Blue Jays announced this evening that catcher Brian Serven was outrighted to Triple-A Buffalo. Toronto hadn’t previously indicated that Serven had landed on waivers. Jimy Williams Passes Away
Former player, manager and coach Jimy Williams has passed away, according to announcement from his previous clubs. He was 80 years old. Williams was born in Santa Maria, California in 1943 and started his professional career by signing with the Red Sox.
